Elite Advanced Polymers has been at the forefront of application-driven advanced compounding for over 20 years, since its founding in 2001. Throughout that time our customer relationships have driven us forward, inspiring our innovation and technology advancements. We have a strong heritage of R&D and application-driven advanced custom compounding. Our Future

Elite’s recent acquisition by DestinHaus Capital has infused the business with innovation expertise, additional working capital, and best in class Japanese manufacturing and quality control practices. Elite now has a bolder growth vision. The business is investing in upgrading its equipment and capabilities to better serve its existing customers and advance into formulating and mixing new materials of the future, for the life sciences and consumer technology industries. Mixing Capabilities

 

At Elite Advance Polymers, custom specialty mixing is our core competency. We strive to have a varying degree of mixing sizes to afford our customers and industry the needs of servicing their business quickly and efficiently. Therefore, Elite Advanced Polymers has expanded their mixing capacity by adding to the existing three production mixing lines. These mixing lines handle batch sizes from roughly 100 lbs. to 250 lbs. depending on the polymer type, specific gravity, hardness, and color. The additional commissioned 5L mixer, the fourth commercial mixer, added increases the capabilities significantly with 10 - 15 lbs. batches. The batch size and mixing versatility is unmatched in the industry with customer’s procurement needs identified.

Robb Smedema is a global business leader with 20 years of experience spanning manufacturing, commercial leadership, and business development. He has built high-performing teams, strengthened customer partnerships, and helped scale industrial businesses by pairing hands-on leadership with a relentless focus on execution, quality, and service. Robb brings deep expertise across industrial applications, with a clear priority: supporting customers by delivering on-time, on-spec, and on-budget. Robb and his wife, Caitlin, have two children, Tripp and Sarah Frances. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, scuba diving, and firing up the smoker. He is proud to be part of Caitlin’s hometown community in Ripley.
Kent Allen
Board Member, CEO of Robbins, LLC
Kent Allen is a seasoned global business leader with 25+ years of experience across the chemicals, plastics, and rubber industries. With a Chemical Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, Kent combines technical rigor with practical, operator-minded leadership. He is committed tohelping organizations solve complex challenges, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sustainable performance. Born in Xenia, Ohio, Kent now lives in Brentwood, Tennessee with his wife of 25 years, Katie, their children Emma and Andrew, and their third Golden Retriever, Molly. Outside of work, he’s a fan of great food, travel, golf, and tennis.
Kerri Murphy
General Manager
Kerri L. Murphy is an experienced manufacturing leader with a track record of strengthening financial discipline, improving visibility, and supporting operational decision-making. She brings a controller’s mindset to the business, with a focus on accurate reporting, cost management, cash stewardship, and building scalable processes that help teams execute with confidence. Kerri’s background includes financial leadership in a manufacturing environment, including experience with TK Elevator. A native of Falkner, Mississippi, Kerri enjoys spending time with her children and her beautiful grandchildren.
