Onward & Upward: Expanding Our Warehouse and Adding Production Capacity

Over the last year, we have upgraded many parts of our operation at Elite Advanced Polymers. From new uniforms for our team members to new equipment on our production lines (more on that coming soon!), we are making steady progress on the goals we set when we announced our vision and new company name last October. To start off 2022, we embarked on two projects that have meaningfully increased our ability to serve current and future customers.

The first of these projects is expanding our warehouse to accommodate increased throughput of raw materials and allow us to stock up on inventory during this challenging supply chain environment. Over the last few months, our team in Ripley worked with American Material Handling to revamp our 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse, more than doubling our warehouse capacity. The successful completion of this project has resulted in our ability to support increased production capacity as well as mitigate supply chain difficulties by carrying safety stock of key raw materials, giving our customers the security of supply that they expect and deserve.

Given the demand we are seeing for a strong, independent custom rubber mixer, this January we made the decision to add a second shift of production on our mixing lines. This initiative has doubled our production capacity and has resulted in our production team setting new production records for each of the last three months. We are very motivated by these results to keep finding new ways to serve our customers and deliver on being The Perfect Mix!
